“The situation is aggravated by the irresponsible actions of a number of external forces. As a result of all the achievements of the long-term and difficult process of international reconciliation, they have found themselves under a serious threat, ”the Security Council permits speaking at the Agreement.

Nebenzya points out that Russia, as one of the guarantors of the Dayton Agreements, cannot remain indifferent to the situation and urge not to blame the Serbs for the unprecedented exacerbation of the internal political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the entire post-war period.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, reacted to a new law introduced into the criminal code of Bosnia and Herzegovina: according to it, denial of the genocide in Srebrenica becomes a criminal offense.

The bill was initiated by the outgoing High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina Valentin Inzko. According to Zakharova, such actions are interference in the internal affairs of the country. In addition, it contradicts the status of Inzko, who should be an objective mediator of the peace process, and follows the development of events in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
