Did he come to visit the place with a view to settling there? A young Peregrine Falcon spent the night from Tuesday 2 to Wednesday 3 November 2021 on the birdhouse installed by the association for the defense of birds LPO Rhône in the Silex II tower, in Lyon (Rhône) a few months ago and which had not received the moment of visitors.
The young “visitor” – a male a priori – landed on the nesting box at 6 pm this Tuesday, reports the LPO Isère. He has spent the night on the exterior access, do not seek shelter when the rain has started to fall. The bird left this Wednesday morning at 7:25 am, still according to the LPO Isère, “manifested for an attack on prey below”.

Would this be the new male of the couple ? “
An indiscreet permanent camera installed in front of the nest box allows you to observe 24/7 the life of the falcons installed in the nesting box. Perhaps the next few days will allow us to know more …
