Former sex cinema defies corona rules

The Walliserkanne is an isolated case. The majority of restaurants, shops and other businesses in Switzerland adhere to the strict Corona measures. The outliers are increasingly joining forces.
Among other things on the «Animap» platform. There are now over 5000 companies registered there. The purpose: companies from sectors make a promise to «never» demand a Covid certificate from their customers.
“So that around 1 percent of all Swiss entrepreneurs are listed on Animap”, the platform is full-bodied. Corona conspiracies are spread under the title “the non-discriminatory industry portal”.
Image change in the cult cinema
The Stüssihof cult cinema in Zurich’s Niederdorf is also participating, the newspapers report from «CH media». For decades, the company built up as a sex cinema until the bar was rebuilt in 2013. Since then, it has shown blockbusters and children’s films. Now the cinema is making the next change of image – to the corona skeptic.
Actually, the certificate requirement has also applied to cinemas since September. According to the Animap entry, the Stüssihof cinema does not adhere to this. Besides a small Aargau cinema, the Stüssihof is the only one that has registered on the ominous platform.
The big difference: The Stüssihof works together with the Arena cinema chain. And this is after all one of the largest cinema operators in the country. The authorities told «CH Media» that they had no knowledge of the Stüssihof’s entry. In addition, the cooperation between Stüssihof and Arena is now history – for financial reasons. The Stüssihof operators themselves are silent.
Cinema, jeans, baker
In addition to the Stüssihof and the Walliserkanne, two companies in the canton of Zurich recently caused a sensation with their coronaskeptic attitude: a baker from Winterthur and a jeans seller from Zurich. They both create a mood against the corona measures in their shop windows.
