ZITiS moves into further offices in Munich
Opening by State Secretary Dr. Markus Richter ZITiS moves into further offices in Munich

ZITiS started its work in Munich four years ago. SIE sees itself as a service provider for the security authorities in Germany and supports them by bundling technical know-how. The expansion of the business premises became necessary because “our first property is too small for the more than 250 colleagues,” explains ZITiS President Wilfried Karl. Vice President and CTO Hans-Christian Witthauer adds: “Especially in the early days of ZITiS, we were often asked how we wanted to survive in this competitive job market. The fact that we are already finding new space for our staff shows that with the right recruiting strategy and as an attractive employer, you can find a great number of suitable talents. “
The new rooms are located in the “NEO” building complex in the Baumkirchen-Mitte development area and therefore very close to the first property on Zamdorfer Straße. The offices were occupied by the administrative departments of ZITiS, for example the management staff, HR and legal and finance. The four business areas of digital forensics, telecommunication surveillance, big data and cryptanalysis will remain in Zamdorfer Straße and will have more space there for new staff.
The move will take place in summer 2021. The new offices were officially opened on October 22nd in the presence of Dr. Markus Richter, State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of the Interior, for Building and Home Affairs and Federal Government Commissioner for Information Technology: “I am very original from ZITiS. The ZITiS is proof of innovative fields of work also in administration. The approach of acting like a startup and as a real IT workshop, which makes future technologies usable for others, stands out and is also reflected more broadly in the new premises. “
