Innsbruck – Violent scenes take place on Tuesday night in an apartment in Innsbruck. As reported by the State Criminal Police Office (LKA), a 27-year-old is said to have threatened a woman of the same age with a knife and raped her after trying to escape. When the victim later locked him out on the balcony, he jumped nine meters down.
The initially verbal argument between the two wars broke out around 1 a.m. When the 27-year-old suddenly wanted to get a knife out of the kitchen in the course of his threatening gestures, the woman ran outside. However, the man was able to catch up with her in front of the house and forcibly brought her back into the apartment. There he is said to have attacked the 27-year-old and sexually assaulted her.
Only with the sound of a water boiler did the man let go of his victim. He fled to the balcony in shock. The woman then locked the balcony door and alerted the police. Meanwhile, the man jumped nine meters down into the courtyard. He had to undergo emergency surgery and, according to the police, is out of danger to his life.
