Why Kante did not travel to Sweden and updated Chelsea’s midfielder’s availability for Burnley
Malmö vs Chelsea
Chelsea will host Swedish Malmö in a Champions League match soon.
The Blues enter the match and were second in Group H, three points behind table-top Juventus, who beat Chelsea 1-0 in their last meeting, with three games left to play.
As a result, if Chelsea want to top their CL group, a win on Tuesday is almost essential.

Why Kante did not travel to meet Malmö and update on his availability for the Burnley clash
Before the match, Chelsea would release their match squad an hour before kick-off.
Although Malmö is the weakest in Chelsea’s group – they have not scored a single goal in three games so far – Thomas Tuchel still chose a strong squad during the day:

However, there was a big omission in the form of N’Golo Kante, who also missed against Norwich.
Now, however, an explanation for the Frenchman not traveling to Malmö has been given by Simon Johnson, who said that the midfielder complained about some muscle tension in training on Monday, but, crucially, should be able to face Burnley this weekend:
N’Golo Kante complained about some muscle tension in training yesterday, so he did not travel with #CFC the squad meets Malmö tonight. A repeat of the Norwich absence. Just a precaution, should be good for Burnley. #MALCHE
