The Climate Academy at the pace of COP26
Cop or not cop? At the beginning of November, the Climate Academy invite the public to pass through the doors of the old town hall of the 4th arrondissement and to discover the many activities that take place there. Students, artists, photographers… From November 1 to 12, the climate is in the spotlight at the Academy! Here are the key elements of the program.
With a zero waste objective, the cooking, sewing and recycling workshops are accessible free of charge in the premises of the Academy. On various themes, you can build nesting boxes, adapt your diet or repair your bike. Let your creativity speak !
Apprentice journalists from the Journalists Training Center (CFJ) provide information on COP26 news. To keep pace with the COP, the students present a press review several evenings a week, preceded by a crier who calls out to the public with the main headlines of the day.
Every evening, the Academy is transformed into a giant refreshment bar during the “Apéro Cop”. In turn, the public is invited to participate in round tables, watch short films or discover board games. The refreshment bar, administered by the Yes We Camp association, also offers concerts.
