Marseille Series Stories Festival, book now – From 11/18/2021 to 11/21/2021 – Marseille
Highlighting the work of adaptation, (re) giving a taste for books by highlighting the stories and stories that hide in the shadows of our favorite series: these are the objectives set Marseille Series Stories, the first festival of series adapted from literary works, at the initiative of the Department of Bouches-du-Rhône.

Workshop reserved for children aged 9-11 on Saturdays
Workshop reserved for children aged 7-8 on Sundays
Two hours of workshop to introduce children to the creative stages of adapting a story in pictures.
Divided into small groups, aspiring screenwriters will be guided through the following process:
– Reading a short text
– Determination of the key elements of the adaptation (genre, time, place, characters …)
– Discussion with the storyboarders present at the workshop, who will highlight the children’s stories
pictures!
Each child will leave with the storyboard of their adaptation.

Workshop carried out with the participation of students in DNMA Animation Cinema of the Lycée Marie Curie – Marseille.
Within the limit of 2 places per household per reservation. Children enrolled in workshops must know how to read and write. A snack will be distributed during the workshop.

The most translated author in the world, Agatha Christie is undoubtedly one of the most important and innovative writers in the detective genre.
66 novels, 154 short stories and 20 plays gave birth to a multitude
of television adaptations, faithful or freely inspired.
Timeless, “The Queen of Crime”, year after year, never ceases to nourish the imagination of contemporary authors, screenwriters and directors, to the delight of the viewer.
Meeting and exchange of 1 hour around the adaptation of Agatha Christie in series, in the presence of the writers and the producer of “Small Murders of Agatha Christie” and “They were ten”.
All events will be free and by reservation for the public.
