Market leader in the field of hour scheduling celebrates its 50th company anniversary

Stockerau (OTS) – On October 18 and 19, 2021 Untis celebrated its 50th company anniversary in the state rooms of the Salzburg Residence. For the 48th time, around 150 partners, users, school principals and administrators as well as representatives of the authorities will meet with Untis to discuss new products, application examples and ideas for the future. Informative lectures, practical live demos by Untis experts and an elegant anniversary gala made the conference a unique experience.

The conference was opened by the new CEO Stefan Raffeiner: “Untis is a strong partner that has been at the side of schools for five years. With our enlarged team and the planned product improvements, we are making ourselves fit for the future, so that we will continue to provide our customers with daily support in everyday school life for the next 50 years.“

In order to simplify everyday school life for millions of pupils, parents and teachers, Untis works consistently to improve the quality of its products. In the presentations, live demos of already published design updates were shown and exclusive insights into features that are still planned were given. From the pleasant operation of the digital class register, to the simple integration of several apps via the WebUntis platform, to the WebUntis notifications and communication with parents – Untis still has a lot to do in the next few years and remains the pioneer in digitization in the education sector.

Anniversary gala “50 years Untis” – 50 years of success in class scheduling

Instead of a laudatory speech, the anniversary film “50 Years Untis” was presented in the evening, summarizing the development of the Untis timetable software. In an interview, the founders Heinz Petters and Bernhard Gruber remember emotional moments in the company’s history, for example when Bernhard Gruber finally got the first Untis program running on an IBM PC. Please, owner representative Christian Gruber thanked the sales partners present for the always cooperative partnership: “The secret of our success is the intensive exchange with everyone involved – both with our customers, partners and with our employees. For I would like to thank you all very much – without you Untis would not be where we are today. This constructive dialogue has always been a central aspect of the company philosophy and we will continue this tradition for the next 50 years.“The gala evening was rounded off with live music by Bartolomey Bittmann, a gala dinner and a large anniversary cake.
