The band Imagine Dragons will return to Prague and want to fill the Letňany airport after the O2 arena
After four years, the American band Imagine Dragons will return to Prague, with their combination of rock energy and catchy pop melodies for most of the past decade of the chart. It will perform on May 30, 2022 at Letňany Airport, the organizing agency Live Nation announced on Monday.
Tickets for 1490 to 2390 crowns will be available in the Ticketmaster and Ticketportal networks from this Friday, November 5 in the morning.
Imagine Dragons will come to the Czech Republic for the fifth time. They played for the first time in 2013 in the Prague club Sasazu, for five years they were the stars of the main stage of the Colors of Ostrava festival, where the singer hugged the female on stage with another fan, danced and tried crowdsurfing.
On the way to Ostrava, the musicians lost several pieces of luggage, including one guitar, due to the airline, so the organizers had to get a backup instrument. The last time Imagine Dragons came to Prague’s O2 arena was in April 2018. The concert in Letňany could be the largest in the Czech Republic in terms of the number of spectators, if anti-pandemic measures allow it next year.
The band, led by 34-year-old singer Dan Reynolds, was formed in 2008 in his hometown of Las Vegas. She first drew attention to herself three years later with a single It’s time, Night Visions’ debut album already contained hits like Demons or Radioactive. He held the record number of weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and to this day he has over 1.3 billion views on YouTube alone.
Both songs belong next to the songs Believer AND Thunder to the four hits of Imagine Dragons, which each recorded over a billion plays on streaming services.
“We play guitars, drums and bass, so they call us a rock band. But we adore strong melodies, songs that give the feeling of an explosion, “the singer Reynolds described their work.

As part of the tour, Imagine Dragons will also visit leading festivals such as I-Days, Rock Werchter, Pinkpop and Lollapalooza in Paris.
Imagine Dragons sold a total of 46 million albums and 55 million songs, turning one of four Grammy nominations.
