Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Russian doctors have been massively declaring psychological burnout at work and expressing a desire to quit, according to a survey conducted by the team of the Doctor’s Handbook mobile application. About it informs “Kommersant”.
According to the survey, about 37 percent of respondents started health problems on emotional exhaustion. The healthcare professionals interviewed began to be taken for granted. All this, as it turned out, has a negative impact on the attitude of doctors towards the patient.
More than 68 percent of their women quit. In addition, about 42 percent is that their superiors do not support them either financially or emotionally.
The survey involved 2,822 respondents, 90 percent of whom are doctors. 611 people worked directly in the “red zone”.
