Hungary is represented by President János Áder at the Glasgow climate summit
Hungary will be climate neutral by 2050, says János Áder at the UN Climate Change Summit (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland. Over the next twelve days, 25,000 politicians from more than 200 countries are expected, he told M1 News.
It was the turn of leading world politicians to attend a UN conference on climate change in Glasgow, Scotland, on Monday. Over the next twelve days, 25,000 politicians are waiting for the COP26 climate summit.
The purpose of the meeting is for participants to commit to keeping global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius compared to pre-industrial levels.
Experts say that this will require rapid and significant changes in land and energy use, industry, construction, transportation, and the design and operation of cities. Above all, CO2 emissions must be drastically reduced.
The world-renowned naturalist Sir Attenborough talks, among other things, that our relationship with the Earth is essentially a single number – the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
“If we are strong enough individually to destabilize our planet, then by working together we are certainly strong enough to save it. I have witnessed a terrible decline throughout my life. But you can and must witness a wonderful healing in you”The naturalist stressed.
“It’s the desperate hope, that’s why the world is looking at you, and that’s why you’re here.”

And UN Secretary-General António Guterres put it that way we are currently digging our own grave.
“It’s time to say enough. It was enough to destroy biodiversity. It was enough to kill ourselves with coal. It was enough to treat nature as a toilet. It was enough of burning, drilling and mining. Let’s dig our own grave“
Said the UN Secretary-General.
According to resigning German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the world is not where it should be. “In that decade, we will find the most alive, let countries be ambitious, and globally, instruments that not only utilize the amounts collected from taxes, but are also economically reasonable, and that is the taxation of carbon emissions.” Said Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The head of state said slowly for a quarter of a century the countries of the world are accepting that reduce CO2 emissions. In the last 25 years, and even since the Paris climate summit, there has been no carbon dioxide concentration. János Áder emphasized that it is not another riogat, an elusive promise, but such a commitment as in Hungary.
“Hungary It will be climate neutral by 2050. This intention was enshrined in law by the National Assembly, and implementation has begun. By 2030 for sure, but hopefully by 2026, we will phase out coal-fired power generation. Third: We will increase solar power capacity from three thousand megawatts by the end of this year to six thousand five hundred megawatts by 2030. Fourth: From 2030, we will only use electric buses in urban public transport. In the meantime, we are constantly replacing the fleet. Fifth: We are implementing a major afforestation program ” – system out of the President of the Republic.
To date, 49 countries have formally committed to achieving carbon neutrality within thirty to forty years.
Experts estimate that the global green turnaround will require at least one hundred thousand billion dollars.
China is scheduled to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, details of the plan are unknown. However, even a plan increase in India has not set zero emissions. Australia, on the other hand, has announced plans to achieve zero emissions by 2050. The Glasgow climate summit runs until November 12th. The conference will be attended by more than 120 heads of state and government around the world on Monday and Tuesday.
