This five-meter-high bronze statue has indeed left its historic base in the Place du Général-de-Gaulle, opposite the Town Hall, where it has been installed since 1865. de-France. As we can read in a statement on the question, the City of Rouen even devotes “200,000 euros of public money” in the restoration of this work by Vital Gabriel Dubray.
