In the last 24 hours, the country registered 491 new cases, cases that are distributed as follows in the various regions: 189 in the Lisbon and Vale do Tejo region (38.5%), 125 in the North region, 73 in the Center region, 46 in the Algarve, 29 in Madeira, 19 in the Alentejo and 10 in the Azores.
There are 243 males and 248 females and the age groups where the most new cases were registered were the age groups 20-29 years (77 cases), 40-49 years (74 cases) and 30-39 years (67 cases).
Portugal has registered 5 more deaths by covid-19, 2 are not male and 3 are not female. All deaths occurred in the 80+ age group (5). There were 3 deaths in the Centro region, 1 in the Lisbon and Vale do Tejo region and 1 in the Alentejo region.

According to the last report of the monitoring of the red lines (dated 29/10/2021) for covid-19, since the beginning of the vaccination process, 43 751 cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection have been identified among 8 603 453 Browse with a complete vaccination schedule for more than 14 days (0.5%).
Among people with a complete vaccination schedule for more than 14 days, there were 467 deaths per covid-19 (1.1%), of which 345 deaths (73.9%) in people over 80 years of age.
Between September 1st and 30th, 2021 the deaths by covid-19 according to the vaccination status were as follows:
– 126 deaths (58%) occurred in people with a complete vaccination schedule
– 13 deaths (6%) occurred in people with incomplete vaccination
– 78 deaths (36%) occurred in unvaccinated people
– 4 deaths occurred in people who had an unknown vaccine schedule
