Budapest is also attractive in winter
London, Paris, Berlin. These capitals, which are always the most popular destinations for travelers looking for a quick getaway, came to the forefront this autumn and are much more popular than London and Vienna. Paris was only 8th and Berlin was pushed off the TOP10 list with 11th a.
Travel technology company experts from Kiwi.com have compiled the latest booking data, which shows that in the period from November 1, 2021 to February 28, 2022, Budapest is the most popular destination, with the most bookings arriving here.

Who can we meet on the streets of Budapest this winter?
Most bookings come from Russia, so it’s no coincidence that the most popular and most popular route is Moscow-Budapest. Russia is followed by the UK, Ukraine and Israel, as well as travelers from the south – Italy, Greece, Portugal and Spain – so in the coming months we will share the streets of Budapest with many of these countries.
Romantic weekends in Budapest?
The data visited in Hungary will spend a long weekend with us, as indicated by the fact that the majority of bookings, approx. 40% are for 1-3 days and most arrive on Friday. Young people in singles and couples
Two thirds of the visitors to Hungary will be young people under the age of 40, one fifth of the 41-60 age group will travel, while the over 60 age group will make up only 4%. According to booking data, nearly half of those arriving here (46%) arrive alone, 4 out of 10 come with their partner, and 14% travel with a group of 3 or more people.
