Zurich: youth injured with knife after football game
On Saturday, October 30, 2021, a youth was injured during the elimination phase after the football match between FC Zurich and FC Basel.
According to previous police findings, there was an incident involving a stabbing weapon at 10.30 p.m. after the football game at the exit of the Letzigrund stadium on the Badenerstrasse side, at number 490. One person was injured in the leg.
The injured, a 14-year-old boy, was immediately looked after by the Zurich city police and then by protection and rescue from the Zurich hospital. The exact sequence and background of the event are currently unclear and are being clarified by the Zurich-Sihl public prosecutor and the Zurich city police.
The Forensic Institute Zurich and the Institute for Forensic Medicine of the University of Zurich went out to secure evidence.
