Slovakia is almost entirely in dark colors. 24 districts feel the strictest measures
With the new week comes a new coloration of some districts. The map of districts was approved by the Government of the Slovak Republic on Wednesday. From Monday, November 1, up to 24 districts will go into the black phase.
There will be 39 districts in burgundy color. The remaining 16 districts will be divided into two halves – 8 districts will be in red, 8 will remain in orange.

The best districts are Bratislava I.-V., Galanta, Komárno and Šaľa. They will remain orange next week. However, their surroundings are significantly colored dark.
The red districts include Dunajská Streda, Ilava, Levice, Nové Zámky, Prievidza, Senica, Trnava and Žarnovica.
Most districts are in burgundy colors. These are the districts of Bánovce nad Bebravou, Banská Bystrica, Banská Štiavnica, Brezno, Bytča, Detva, Dolný Kubín, Gelnica, Hlohovec, Kežmarok, Košice I.-IV., Košice-okolie, Krupina, Liptovský Mikuláš, Malacky, Myjava, Nitra, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Partizánske, Pezinok, Piešťany, Považská Bystrica, Prešov, Púchov, Revúca, Rožňava, Senec, Skalica, Trebišov, Trenčín, Turčianske Teplice, Veľký Krtíš, Žiar nad Hronom, Žilina, Zlaté Moravce and Zvolen.
Many districts are also in black. The strictest measures have the districts of Bardejov, Čadca, Humenné, Kysucké Nové Mesto, Levoča, Lučenec, Martin, Medzilaborce, Michalovce, Námestovo, Poltár, Poprad, Rimavská Sobota, Ružomberok, Sabinov, Snina, Sobrance, Spišská Nová Ves, Stará Ľubovňa, Stropkov, Svidník, Topoľčany, Tvrdošín and Vranov nad Topľou.
Applicable measures for the district
The mildest measures apply to the orange districts. You have to wear a veil in them indoors. The obligation to wear a veil outdoors applies to mass events. Going out is unrestricted, so you can go out whenever you want.
Schools operate essentially normally. For primary and secondary schools, quarantine applies to the discovery of the disease and universities are largely limited.
If you are a college student, 100 people in the “base”, 400 OTP people or 1,000 if they are fully vaccinated will attend lectures in the Orange District. You will only be able to be in a boarding school if you have full-time teaching.

In the red district, ie in the 1st degree of danger, it is in interiors, including means of public transport and taxable respirators. In the exterior, mandatory covering of the upper airways with a veil, scarf or shawl at mass events.
Schools in these districts remain open. However, universities have stricter measures – 20 people in the “base”, 40 students with OTP or 120 if they are fully vaccinated. You can only be in a boarding school if you go to school in person.

If you belong to the burgundy district, a respirator must be worn on the nose and in the interiors, including public transport and taxis. In the exterior, the obligatory covering of the upper roads applies, either with a veil, respirator, scarf, or scarf, if you are less than two meters away from strangers.
In burgundy districts, they still function essentially normally. In vaccinated mode, you can dine outside the restaurant without capacity restrictions. In the interior, 4 people are allowed at one table or people from one household, with a table spacing of at least 2 meters and consumption of a seating area only.

In the third degree of danger, ie in black, are the strictest measures. The restaurant will also close and only window sales will work, which also applies to vaccinated people.
Food delivery is also preserved for the restaurant. You can’t even get to the fitness center in the black districts. Mass events are only possible for the vaccinated, for a maximum of 100 people.
