Sharks Innsbruck are also marching against Linz
Even on Halloween, points were fought for in the bet-at-Home Ice Hockey League. Innsbruck, Salzburg, Vienna and Bozen had home games in front of their chests on Sunday and they won.
Haie Innsbruck remains the best Austrian team in the league at the moment
The hosts had the better start in the encounter between the Innsbrucker Haien and the Black Wings Linz on Halloween. The goal for the lead was scored by the number nine of the Tyroleans, Zachary Magwood. The hosts were also responsible for the two other goals before the Black Wings found their way into the second game with goals from captain Brian Lebler and Alexander Lahoda in the second period. A few seconds before the second third break, the guests’ brief glimmer of hope was dashed by Timothy McGauley from Innsbruck. This scored the 4: 2 after 39 minutes played.
The final third started with many chances for the Linzers, but the deaths remained unused. Thus, the three points after Martin Ulmer’s net goal went 5-2 to the Haie, who will travel to the Villach town hall on Friday. The Stahlstädter went away empty-handed this weekend and will get their next chance at the home game on November 5th against the Vienna Capitals.
