Russia will resume flights with nine more countries – Rossiyskaya Gazeta
From November 9, Russia will resume regular flights on a reciprocal basis with nine more countries. Among them are the Bahamas, Iran, the Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Slovenia, Tunisia, Sweden and Thailand. The decision on this is the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus in mid-October. Only some of these countries are accessible to tourists.

The airline is allowed to operate two flights a week from Moscow to Nassau (Bahamas), planes to fly from Moscow to Tehran (Iran) three times a week, and from Sochi – once a week. Direct flights to Amsterdam (Netherlands) from Moscow will be seven times a week, to Eindhoven – two flights a week, and two flights a week will be to Amsterdam from St. Petersburg, Zhukovsky, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad and Sochi.
From St. Petersburg, two flights a week will fly to Oslo and Bergen (Norway), two flights – from Moscow to Muscat (Oman), three flights – from Moscow to Ljubljana (Slovenia). Seven times a week the planes will fly to Monastir (Tunisia) from Moscow, twice – from St. Petersburg and other airports, from which international flights have been resumed. Three times a week, the planes will fly from St. Petersburg to Stockholm and Gothenburg (Sweden), twice – from Moscow to Bangkok and Phuket. Also, one flight per week, the airline operates international flights.
The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden are not yet accepting tourists from Russia. Only certain categories of passengers can enter these countries, for example, holders of residence permits, passengers with business, educational or medical purposes.
The Bahamas accepts Russian tourists only with PRC tests, Iran, Oman, Slovenia, Tunisia – also with Sputnik V vaccination certificates. Special situation with Thailand. Before the pandemic, this destination was among the most popular among Russian tourists. In 2019, 1.5 million Russians are attracted. Vaccinated tourists can enter the provinces of Thailand that are open for tourism without quarantine – Bangkok, Phuket, Krabi and Samui, vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia Dmitry Gorin. Thailand recognizes Sputnik V vaccine. But tourists will have to take several PCR tests.
Direct flights from Russia have now been resumed from 58 countries.
Meanwhile
From November 9, Russia will also resume charter flights to the Egyptian resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh from cities where international flights have been resumed. “Now there is an opportunity to operate international flights from more than 60 airports in Russia.
