first there were steps around the bronze. This match was between Germany and England. The British were able to keep up well in the first quarter to 5-5, after that it went hard for the Germans. Our Eastern neighbors led 10-6 at halftime. After that, the British came back to 10-9, but then it was over for Germany. Final score: 13 – 11.
Then followed the final in which the team of national coach Jan Niebeek started with the ball. However, the team fails to score. This allowed the Belgian Diamonds to score 0-1. Walked out to the Southern neighbors from a 3-1 sequel. Olav van Wijngaarden then got into an argument with his opponents and handed out an elbow punch. This got him a yellow card.
The Netherlands came alongside afterwards and ran out to a 5-4 pace. Then Van Wijngaarden and his were again involved in an affair, meaning said had to leave the field with red. The Netherlands had to change at that time and Harjan Visscher took his place. At the end of the second quarter the Netherlands 13-7, with the 11-7 in the name of captain Esther Cordus (KZ/Thermo4U).
After the break, the Netherlands walked further away, although there were sloppy phases. The Netherlands failed to extend further. They were actually obliged to do so. The party shows little fighting spirit in that phase. They came back until 18-14, but after that the pipe was empty. As a result, the Netherlands could extend even further to 21-17 and that was also the final score.
In 2023, the World Games will take place in America, where TeamNL will also participate.
