Praguers have the opportunity to be vaccinated with the Janssen single-dose vaccine in the vaccination center in Spálená Street, which is being set up by the capital.
This substance will be applied here from 1 November 2021 to all those who register in advance via the reservation system or on the telephone number 222 924 260. Thanks to the reservation, which may not have been possible before, people in Prague will avoid waiting in queues.
The medics of the vaccination center in the Municipal Polyclinic in Prague in Spálená Street will apply to clients with the reservation vaccine against covid-19 Janssen, which is fully effective after one delivered, throughout the first day of November from 7.30 am to 3.20 pm. In the following days, the first dose of Comirnaty vaccine from BioNTec / Pfizer and Janssen will be available for vaccination.
“At a time when the demand for vaccination is increasing again, you must be able to be comfortably vaccinated with a single-dose vaccine. Waiting all day in queues inside a shopping center or at a train station, as offered by the government, is indecent and goes against the meaning of security measures. I am glad that the Municipal Polyclinic in Prague offers a civilized way to get vaccinated not only with the Comirnata vaccine, but also with Janssen, thanks to a reservation for a specific time, ”says the mayor of Prague, Zdeněk Hřib.
Due to the deteriorating epidemic situation, which largely affects the unvaccinated, these days, not only in Prague, the interest in vaccination is increasing again. People who book their place in advance at the vaccination site in Spálená can not only be vaccinated with a single-dose vaccine, but also currently avoid long waits in queues for vaccination without a reservation.
“In cooperation with the Czech Red Cross and the Municipal Polyclinic in Prague, we were the first to resume the operation of mobile vaccination teams. Since the beginning of October, they have been touring facilities for the elderly again, where they are expecting a third, booster dose of the vaccine. So far, we have administered the vaccine in this way to about two clients and clients, and we will vaccinate hundreds more people in nursing homes in the coming weeks, ”said Milena John, Councilor for Social Policy and Health.
The capital is continuing its campaign to vaccinate against covid-19, where the main purpose is to clearly provide complete information to the general public. In addition, they now specifically target young people who can also get the vaccine, but are still by far the least vaccinated age group. Further news and details are available on the website HERE.
