Moldovan policeman caught on radar at bus station PiataAuto.md
Police officers in many countries around the world have ingenious methods of disguising their presence to catch speedsters. In most countries, unmarked cars are practiced, which look absolutely common and include hidden headlights only when they proceed to stop the one who has violated. In Germany there are also fake radar trailers, and in Switzerland small trucks with construction garbage were caught on them, through which a radar was also placed. In Moldova, however, there are not many budgets for such creative equipment, so a police officer used what he had at hand to do what he usually does, but in a way that is not seen by drivers.
He took his TrueCam radar in his hand and positioned himself in the bus station from Sărătenii-Vechi, on the famous route between Chisinau and Balti, near the intersection to Soroca. Here the route passes through a part of the locality, so there is a standard limit of 50 km / h. The patrol officer was not disturbed by the presence at the bus station of three more passengers waiting for public transport, one of whom was with a baby in his hand. He continued his activity unhindered, hunting cars with radar. And since almost no one on the opposite side sees him sitting in the station, the policeman can be sure that no flashes will come forward.
