Debrecen – For a moment there was no doubt about the success of the team of the University of Debrecen.

In NB I, the men’s basketball fought his regular league match in the team of the University of Debrecen in the domestic environment, in the sports hall of Oláh Gábor street.

Ádám Tóth contributed 15 points to the success

The DEAC-Tungsram basketball team won twenty-two points in the eighth round of the Tippmix men’s NB I against Zalakerámia ZTE KK.

The team from Debrecen, after a great start, controlled the match throughout the University and collected the league points.

Djordje Drenovac, who struggled with a hand injury, warmed up with his teammates, but like László Polyák, he couldn’t take the game, but Ádám Tóth was already Milenko Topics.

The audience’s favorite center wasn’t idle, it was the result of the first attack right away. The DEAC didn’t slow down in the jump either, after Valerio-Bodon’s eye-catching basket, Laporik hit him from the outside, and three minutes after Thames broke, the people of Hajdúság led to 10-0. Wilson started scoring for the guests, but the pace was still dictated by the people of Cívisváros, led by Tóth to the middle of the quarter 16-2. In the second half of the game, ZTE defended their defense defensively, and with a 6-0 rush, they closed inside ten. In his hair, Valerio-Bodon came up with a nice three-pointers, but the people of Zala also had an answer to this, with Simó’s double 21-12 lead from Debrecen after the ten-minute game.

The second act started better, with Parks scoring from outside after two plus each action, and after Harris’ sing, there was only one left. Thames blew an alarm with three penalties, then Valerio-Bodon was active on both sides of the pitch, with the young small striker leading to double-digit the difference again (30-20). In the jump, the game sat down a bit, there were plenty of unforced errors, so the difference became permanent. Approaching the big break, Guyton, who was still bouncing in Debrecen last year, took control, with his three-point and mid-distance sold at the moment of the bagpipe again within ten (35-27).

The teams turned at a high pace, Lapornik and Dzeletovics also scored from the outside, while Tóth was successful from under the backboard, and Parks came with four points (43-31). DEAC-Tungsram did not slow down, a basket was born from almost all attacks, and after Kerpel-Fronius threw outside, Teo Cizmic was forced to ask (52-33). A good head wash for the blacks and whites, their play stabilized noticeably, they made their short attack thirteen units closed by the end of the quarter (62-49).

At the beginning of the closing act, the baskets were smashing, Valerio-Bodon and Lapornik from Hajdúság were also successful from beyond the three-point line, but the Zala team kept up with Harris and Parks. In the middle of the quarter, the host shook himself again after the points of the host, Jeletovich, Thames also beat a triple, so in the 34th minute the DEAC regained a confident forehead (74-57). From there, there was no going back for Bálinték Horti, the students of Milenko Topics were noticeably relieved of the burden of the defeats they suffered in the last two rounds, and in the end they achieved a confident success of 88-66. With this success, the formation of the University of Debrecen continues to cling to the forefront, and in the next round they will visit the home of the Lioness in good shape.

Development of the result. 3 min: 10-0 5: 16–2. 10: 21–8. 13. p. 21–20. Pp. 18: 33–22. Pp. 22: 43–29. 26: 52–35. Pp. 30: 58–49. 32: 67–52. P. 36 76–57.

Milenko topics:
“It’s very hard to build self-confidence after a bad series, but we had no choice. We focused all our efforts on Zalaegerszeg during the week behind us. The return of Ádám Tóth meant a lot of real, real leader of the team. In the first half, we owe our advantage mainly to our offensive rebounds, and luckily we didn’t melt down even after the big break.

Teo Cizmic:
“Our number one managers have been injured, and Deondre Parks isn’t even in 100 percent condition, so we had to change our plans. It is not easy to win in Debrecen even under ideal conditions, but at the moment the conditions are very far from ideal.
