VIDEO. Between wine and chocolate, four days of delights at the new Parc des Expositions de Toulouse Métropole
The “Vins & Terroirs” and “Chocolat & Gourmandises” fairs are making a big comeback today in the Toulouse metropolis. An event with many producers gathered until Monday, November 1 to introduce regional and quality products.
For the next few days, gluttony is no longer a bad thing. In the north of Toulouse in Aussonne, epicureans and gourmets have an appointment for four days of taste discoveries at the new Toulouse Métropole exhibition center (MEETT).
For this local event, two fairs were organized. On the one hand, the “Wines & Terroirs” area allows you to discover new French appellations. More than 250 producers offering bottles at “Direct producers” prices. A perfect opportunity for small budgets and lovers of good wine. “It’s an opportunity to make a new cellar, to prepare for the holidays, to simply have fun,” announces Olivier Cahuzac, Director of the Toulouse Events Salons.
A mix of wines and chocolates
Producers from all over France made the trip to make themselves known. Discovery is also the theme of the second neighboring salon. Just like wine, chocolate with different aromas and flavors. Cocoa comes in different aspects and the artisan chocolatiers wish to share it with the Toulouse public gathered for this event. Nougats, tablets or nuggets are waiting for you.
For David Angeli, “it is quite simply the beginning of the chocolate season” which is launching. The master chocolatier intends to seduce gourmets with Toulouse know-how mixed with flavors from different continents. “We have new products that will please customers,” says the local craftsman.
A symbolic edition
Various tasting events are present during the show. For the organizers, as well as the producers and the customers, this edition is also symbolic. Due to the pandemic, the two previous seasons have been canceled. For this return, the organizers have decided to play extra time. Beneficial producers of an additional day, Monday, November 1, at the show.
