Wednesday evening in Toulouse, two women were physically attacked by a man whose advances they managed to refuse. Drunk, a 27-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

The facts took place Wednesday evening in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne). It was around 9:00 p.m. and the witness of an assault had just called the police. Officials arrived near the Matabiau station, and Actu Toulouse reported that when they saw it, a man ran away. The police did not take long to catch up with him.

Assaulted for refusing advances: an alcoholic suspect

The respondent, aged 27, appeared under the influence of alcohol. A consumption which would have prompted him, minutes earlier, to a few women in the street, and especially to react violently by noting that these passers-by refused his advances. Aged 30 and 25, the women were punched for one and the car aerial for the other. The severity of their injuries is unknown. Actu17 adds that the suspect, placed in police custody, must be heard Thursday by the authorities.

A stabbing attack shortly before and not far away

The surroundings were particularly animated Wednesday at the end of the day, because a few hours before this attack, the police had intervened around the station for similar facts. A man of unspecified age was found seriously injured after receiving several stab wounds. He was then transported to hospital without his life-threatening prognosis. Cases a priori unrelated to the stride, a 39-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into police custody. An investigation has since been opened and entrusted to the police officers of the judicial support group (GAJ).
