A man was arrested by the police in Villefranche-sur-Saône for shoplifting. A link could be established with another thief. In total, the two men are received in 18 flights.
A forty-year-old from Villefranche-sur-Saône was arrested for shoplifting committed between April 2019 and March 2021. From Ain to Isère, via the Rhône, the suspect traveled several departments in search of objects to steal. During his police custody, he was also heard for other acts committed with the help of an accomplice.
Jewelry and crack in the home of the second suspect
The second man to be identified, and investigators decided to search their homes. Perfumes and sunglasses for one, jewelry and crack residue for the other. Investigators have multiplied the discoveries during their investigations. Added to the searches, the arrest of the two men – already known to the police – a permit to clarify 18 cases of shoplifting.
The 40-year-old is summoned to court for a hearing scheduled for November 9. As for his accomplice, he was presented to the parquet floor of Villefranche-sur-Saône on October 28. Locked up, his case will also be treated on November 9.
