Toulouse: the first donut shop makes its hole

the essential
The first donut shop in Toulouse, CoCoRosa donuts, opened two weeks ago. Since then, it has been a success.

It’s a bit of New York in Toulouse. In front of the first donut shop in the city, CocoRosa donuts, which opened on Friday, October 15 at 46 rue Boulbonne, passers-by slow down and stop to taste this pastry from the United States. Classic and original recipes catch the eye and the appetite of the curious.

Since arriving in Toulouse three years ago, Colin Houel has been working on this project, delayed by the health crisis. The thirty-something took the opportunity to refine his recipe. Its opening is a success, almost daily, it is out of stock before the end of the day. “I want to bring a moment of pleasure to the people of Toulouse, it does not delight me to sell all my stock. The important thing is that all those who wish to be able to have some ”, says the thirty-something.

To confection the donuts with his pastry chef, he gets up at four in the morning. And closes his shop at 7 p.m. This life at 1,000 an hour does not exhaust him. “I have many ideas, this is only the start of a long adventure,” smiles Colin Houel. In the weeks weeks, CoCoRosa will offer ephemeral donuts and other savory ones, to satisfy all tastes.
