Are you saving him? With 263,000 hectares, Occitania is the first vineyard in the world! Among them, the wines of the South-West, freshly united under the new banner “South-West of the heart”, occupy a place of choice between Occitanie and New-Aquitaine.
Two days of celebration around the harvest
This did not escape the Interprofession des vins du Sud-Ouest (4e vineyard of France) who wished to honor this exceptional terroir on the Place du Capitole, in Toulouse, on the occasion of the Harvest festival, these Friday October 29 and Saturday October 30, 2021. A great opportunity to discover the traditions and know-how of the vineyards of this exceptional terroir, which, let us remember, was crowned best wine region in the world by the American newspaper Wine lover.
60 producers gathered for two days
60 producers come together for two days in the heart of the Pink City. On the program: presentation of the vineyards, but also discovery of the best vintages during a tasting and sale. Many activities are planned, in order to be able to discover the secrets of tasting, blending and aromas of wine.
Guinguette and wine bar on site
On site, a tavern, a wine bar, a point of cutting and tasting of black ham from Bigorre, but also a food stand, with cheeses and charcuterie à la carte. A dedicated program around taste and aromas has also been concocted for children. Not less than three bandas ensures the atmosphere on site: “Les Jazz’Amis”, “les Mâles au chœur” and “Bacchus SocialClub”.
