Tuesday 2 November (9 pm) at the Teatro Nuovo will open the 2021/2022 Theater Season of San Marino Teatro la pièce “Promenade de santa “. From the bright tones of the “Crimes of the Glimmer” here are the chiaroscuro ones of the comedy that sees protagonists Lucia Mascino and Filippo Timi.

“Promenade de santé”, a text by Nicolas Bedos directed by Giuseppe Piccioni that for the first time engages with the stage instead of the big screen: a man (Filippo Timi), a woman (Lucia Mascino), a fatal attraction that ignites on the bench of a psychiatric hospital.
In the affair, the cultural institutes explain in a note, two meet in a clinic for mental illness. They attract and repel each other with a role play that is above all within themselves. In the end they will meet, but the question remains whether it is always them or others or even a dream.

Piccioni accompanies the continuous dialogue between the two protagonists, not letting in extraneous elements, but often bringing the show from the stage to the filmed image to describe the world outside the clinic.
The transposition allows the two actors to face the text with experienced skills and results of absolute excellence.

From irony to sentiment and drama, the two know how to touch the chords of words that perhaps need two showmen to be appreciated. The show will go on stage on November 2, 2021 at 9 pm at the Teatro Nuovo di Dogana.
