Warning
Researchers from the University of Chemical Technology (ICT) warn that the number of infected people in Prague is much higher than the official statistics. They base their findings on wastewater research – they analyze the amount of viral RNA that got in there from infected stools. On Friday morning, Associate Professor Jan Bartáček from the Institute of Water Technology and the ICT Institute said on the basis of new analyzes by Radiožurnál that viral load in wastewater in Prague now corresponds to the number of infected from the most serious waves this March. At that time, there were 18,000 infected people in the metropolis.
