Corona traffic light: As of Monday, Denmark, Liechtenstein and Norway are high-risk areas
From Monday it will be more difficult for non-vaccinated people to change from Denmark, Ireland, Liechtenstein and Norway to the Czech Republic. The reason: The four areas are rated worse than before in the so-called Corona travel light of the Czech Republic. THEY then get the red color for countries that are at high risk of corona infection, in the autumn of Ireland it is even the group with a very high risk. Up until now, they were assigned the color orange, which indicates a medium risk. In contrast, Cyprus is rated better than before, announced the Ministry of Health in a press release on Friday.
Countries with a low risk and thus in the green group in Europe currently include Italy, Malta, Spain and the Vatican as well as the islands of the Canary Islands and Madeira. Of the non-European countries, these are Australia, Bahrain, Chile, Hong Kong, Jordan, Canada, Qatar, Kuwait, Macao, New Zealand, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, Uruguay and the United Arab Emirates.
As of Monday, the countries in the medium risk group, which is marked orange, include Andorra, France, Monaco, Portugal, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland and Cyprus as well as the islands of the Azores and Balearic Islands.
High risk countries marked in red include Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland and Hungary. All other countries in Europe were included in the dark red group and, from the Czech point of view, are considered to be areas with a very high risk.
