Burger King Russia complains to the FAS about advertising on Telegram
The Russian Burger King filed a complaint with the FAS against the Telegram messenger over a ban on advertising fast food, the fast food chain said in a statement.
“At the end of October, the founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, announced the ban on fast food advertising on his new advertising platform and received an immediate response from the Burger King Russia network, which filed with the FAS on Telegram and the creator. Burger King accuses them of ignoring the rights and real interests of consumers, and also insists on lifting the ban, “- said in a statement Burger King.
The Telegram messenger on October 26 announced the launch of an advertising platform, messages will be posted in the channel, which have more than 1,000 subscribers.
