A passenger from a passenger car died during an collision between an ambulance and a car near Nymburk
The accident happened around half past two in the afternoon on road number 330 near the village of Budiměřice.

The passenger from the car was resuscitated after rescue, but succumbed to injuries on the spot. A minor girl also traveled in the car, which the paramedics took to the hospital together with the driver.
“Two patients with minor injuries were transported in an ambulance, which we drove away from other traffic accidents. Together with the ambulance driver and another paramedic, they were transported to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries, “added Homolová.
“We are investigating the incident. The traffic accident was to occur in such a way that the ambulance drove from other accidents and the driver in the car drove in the opposite direction. The driver of the van escaped unharmed, his condition did not require transport to the hospital.
Five rescue crews and two helicopters intervened on the spot. A professional fire brigade from Nymburk helped rescue the wounded.
The tragic accident is further investigated by the police. The place can be bypassed along the main road through Poděbrady and Netřebice, or along the lower class road through Velké Zboží and Křečkov.
