Restrictions and Guilt: Your Enemies
Restrictions and Guilt: Your Enemies! Indeed, diets use these two very powerful tools to keep us in the vicious cycle of dieting. New appointment every Thursday on Radio Monaco Feel Good with Julie blanc dedicated to intuitive eating. FYI, intuitive nutrition was conceptualized by American nutritionists Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Recsch in 1995. It is a positive approach to making peace with yourself and with food!
A method more respectful of his body, his needs and especially his desires.
Restrictions and guilt: the typical pattern
First, the restriction. It is directly related to the diet, between foods to be favored or to be banned, quantities to be limited, etc. Restrictions applied to frustration. The latter is expressed in different forms, but very often it is via food cravings. The desire to eat everything after so much deprivation.
Ultimately, therefore, the guilt takes over. We feel guilty for having thrown ourselves on the food. And we dive back into a diet.
Intuitive eating will allow you to work on being allowed to eat whatever you want. You can eat when you want to, knowing that you can eat it again later.
This permission allows you to get out of restriction and frustration. By eliminating them, there is also no guilt and therefore no over-consumption !!
