Pediment. The Black Lady at the Capitole of Toulouse

Pediment. The Black Lady at the Capitole of Toulouse

The harvest is a celebration and Jérôme Soriano, winemaker of Château Joliet, does not fail to underline it.

In the first episode of the Earth to the Bottle podcast, he recounts his experience. He invites listeners to experience this crucial stage in the profession of winegrower in the heart of his cellar. An activity that he has lived with passion for many years: “The harvest is the culmination of a year of work”. In this first episode, he receives Stéphane Camin as a guest. The journalist from Toulouse takes the place of the listeners in the episode, on the spot, he confides his feelings, his feelings, asks questions, tastes… He inaugurates this podcast carried by the members of G.Sica, a gathering of five winegrowers from Frontonnais , not Jérôme Soriano. But Jérôme Soriano does not stop there. This passionate winegrower will also celebrate the harvest this weekend in the heart of Toulouse. Installed on the Place du Capitole, among the 60 winemakers from the southwestern vineyards present, he presents these beautiful cuvées from Frontonnais. The appointment is given on October 29 and 30, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for this first Toulouse Harvest Festival.

Château Joliet will offer all these wines, but it will also be an opportunity for the vineyard to honor its newborn: La Dame Noire. This wine of an elegance worthy of the great years is only released on the occasion of privileged vintages. This was the case in 2019, since Jérôme Soriano was able to concoct this beautiful cuvée with a bouquet of rare spices, flowers and black fruits. Its wines are also used to create blends within G.Sica and its Secret de Fronton range.
