Hungary has registered 13,000 new neighbors
In Romania, the moving average of newly diagnosed coronavirus infections has continued to decline, but the epidemic curve is still rising due to deaths from the disease, the MTI writes.
According to a report by the Strategic Communications Tribe (GCS) on Thursday, 13,000 to 197 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours, down from ten on average over the past two weeks. Also, the moving average, which has stagnated around 14,000 to 500 in recent days, has started to decline slightly.
In Romania, the epidemic curve is sawtooth-shaped, with weekly fluctuations following changes in the number of tests evaluated. For almost a month now, the hit rate has been around 20 percent, so on average every fifth test is positive. On weekends, some laboratories are closed, so the previous 24-hour summary Sunday and Monday reports show lower-than-average reports, while the other five reports show higher-than-average cases, including those on Tuesday.
On Thursday, for the first time in months, fewer new cases were diagnosed on average on a weekday. However, pressures on health care are still rising and the number of deaths is rising.
According to the GCS, 413 viral patients have died in the last 24 hours, which is 5 crowns higher than the average of the last two weeks, and the two-week moving average itself has confirmed it from 16 of the last week. Among those who died on Thursday were three young people under the age of 30, all unvaccinated.
