Here is the team that competes in Six Sweden Major – Rainbow Six: Siege
We are a couple of weeks away from the beginning of Rainbow Six: Siege Sweden Major, and before that date, Ubisoft has released an event guide that gives us both a look at the format and schedule, but it also shows us teams that have qualified for the tournament.
Begins on November 8 with a group game that will run until November 10, the event will run until November 14 when the grand final will take place.
In terms of qualifying teams, 16 teams have taken part in the event, with Team BDS, Team Empire, Team Vitality and Rogue becoming Europe’s competitors. For the rest of the world; Sandbox Gaming, Invictus Gaming International, Chiefs Esports Club and DWG KIA represent the Asia-Pacific region; Spacestation Gaming, Oxygen Esports, Susquehanna Soniqs and DarkZero Esports are North America’s competitors; and Furia Esports, Team one Esports, FaZe Clan and Ninjas in Pajamas are Latin America’s representatives.
In terms of format, for the group stage, each team will face every other team in their respective group, with the top two teams from that group moving to the playoff class. In the playoffs, each match will be an elimination game, which means that the team only has one chance to get to the grand final.
You can take a look at complete event guide here, which also concerns the sanitary procedures for the event as well as the streaming plans.
