A large delegation of AS Venus is preparing to embark tomorrow morning on the Air France flight to Toulouse, via Paris.

Executives, coaches, guides and especially players are part of this trip whose main mission is to play the match of 7^e French Cup round for which Mahina’s team qualified following their victory against Pirae, in the Polynesian Cup, on Saturday June 26th.

Among the workforce of more than twenty people including three young people, Indra Suarjana and Mana Teniau, 16, and Manuarii Shan, 17, who will try to follow training in France.

“They accompany the group and, arrived in Toulouse while the first team will prepare for its match of 7^e In turn, the two U17s will go for detection at the TFC training center with all the young people selected from Occitania, ”explains Alfred Taputuarai, president of AS Venus.

“We proposed these two young people and the director accepted their registration. So, they will stay in the center from November 2 to 12, then they will go up to join us either in Paris or at the venue of the match of 7^e French Cup round. If they are selected during detection, they will leave again in January to be integrated into the TFC training group, ”adds the tomana of Venus.

Manuarii Shan could also be part of a detection in Toulouse but with the U19. He could even play a match on the spot between players of the same age. He will then accompany the workforce in Rodez with, again, the possibility of participating in an on-site detection, before going up with the group to the place of the Cup match.

“If he is selected, he could even stay directly in France and not return to Tahiti,” adds Alfred Taputuarai, visibly confident. The latter also recalls that two players are now integrated into the workforce of the first team of Venus, namely Teumere Tevaitini and Terai Bremond, have also passed in recent months by the TFC.

A training center with which the Mahina team has entered into a twinning agreement initiated by the main coach of the East Coast Navy Blues, Samuel Garcia. On the program, therefore, for Venus: arrival on Saturday, October 30 in Paris, then direction Toulouse with five days at TFC.

Then, Rodez with a match against the Ligue 2 team and five days there.

Then Draw, Wednesday, November 3, day when Venus will then know her opponent of the 7^e to visit.

Then another trip to get there and prepare for the match which will probably take place on Friday, November 12th.

Fingers crossed that a French team then won its ticket for a trip to Tahiti to play an 8^e Coupe de France round… against Venus!
