A man was seriously injured with stab wounds this Wednesday morning in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), in the middle of the street, near the Matabiau station. A 39-year-old suspect was arrested shortly after the incident.

Ultra-violent assault on boulevard Bonrepos de Toulouse, in front of the lock gîte, this Wednesday morning around 7 am. A man was severely beaten and stabbed multiple times.

The latter was quickly taken care of by the firefighters before being evacuated to Rangueil hospital, while his life seems to be in danger. The victim, who has not been identified, was stabbed at least seven times and was eviscerated, said a source close to the investigation.

The police called for witnesses and located the alleged perpetrator in a building nearby. This 39-year-old man, already known to the police, was arrested and taken into custody. Its motivations remain to be determined.

An investigation for attempted homicide was opened and entrusted to the police of the judicial support group (GAJ) of the city police station. The facts would have been entirely filmed by the video surveillance of the municipality, which should make it possible to determine what exactly happened.
