Warsaw: Zielona Marszałkowska. The pavement and the bicycle path are ready, the trees are planted

The investment is the first step towards the renovation of ul. Marszałkowska as part of the New Center of Warsaw. It mainly involved building dogs for an online store. At the intersection with ul. Świętokrzyska, and it was permanently included with the layout of paths, the construction of which – at the investment site – started a few weeks ago.

The pavement was also renovated as part of this project. An old cube from before two that lay the base layers. In several places they were placed in a new track, thanks to which the access to the bus “Centrum 03” was easier. I also anticipate parking from the sidewalk to the sidewalk, marking out parking spaces on the existing oversized table lane. Drivers park the plasters in the direction of travel there.

The dot over the “i” of changes was green. Just for the ending planting of trees – 38 silvery lips of “Varsaviensis” which stood in the company of development – shrubs and perennials, incl. a hedge of irgi. Today, the linden trees do not look fully magnificent, because it is autumn and they are losing their leaves. However, when they release them in the summer – they will embellish Marszałkowska along the pl. Parade.

There will be more new plants nearby. To the south of the place where the linden trees were planted, the area around the Dmowski roundabout is being rebuilt. Greenery, including 58 trees, will appear at the roundabout itself and in the corners. Complete one healthy additions – the next sale the next that will guide, to additions and post-insertion additions. Next to the zebras, bicycle rides will be built – at the level of Poznańska, Widok, Parkingowa and Nowogrodzka Streets.

As part of the New Center of Warsaw, the so-called Five Horns Square, with 22 field maples 8-9 meters high. The entire square will be a pedestrian zone with access to the exit point, few buses along ul. Szpitalna and residents’ commuting.

In total, this year the city center will gain approx. One hectare of new green space, with 118 new trees, shrubs and low greenery. Bean plates depending on size, together with the zone zone and reserve benches.

Moreover, further northern and southern sections of ul. Marszałkowska – in this way, across the same street between pl. Bankowy and pl. Konstytucji into a comfortable city artery with rows of trees, which can be easily used by pedestrians, cyclists, passengers and passengers. Similar changes await Al. Jerozolimskie (after the renovation of the intermediate line planned by railroaders from 2024).
