“United Russia” in the Kuban donated about a thousand books to school libraries
The action is timed to coincide with the International Day of School Libraries.
United Russia deputies, activists donated almost a thousand new books to more than 90 libraries, including modern literature, works of classics, books for extracurricular reading of schoolchildren
So, for example, the deputy of the city Duma of Krasnodar (“United Russia”) Galina Glushchenko visited the library of school number 8 in the city of Krasnodar. She brought educational books. Among them are a large colorful encyclopedia of birds, a series of illustrated publications on the history of Russia and the Kuban, several books with entertaining facts and an encyclopedia dedicated to the development of technology.
“Our children should love to read, learn new things and get joy from reading good books,” said Galina Glushchenko.
In Sochi, United Russia City Assembly deputies helped libraries. For example, Angela Selyukova helped the Central Regional Library with repairs, Denis Tantsura donated lighting fixtures and electrical equipment for library No. 11 in the village of Verkhnenikolaevskoye, and SosMartirosyan purchased three workstations and modern furniture for a children’s corner for library No. 13.
The parliamentarians of the Lazarevskaya deputy group presented an annual subscription to periodicals. The Lazarevskaya centralized library system includes 15 libraries and 2 clubs. This is the library of the auls Tkhagapsh, Kalezh, the villages of Sergei-Pole, Vishnevka, Solokh-Aul. And young deputies from electoral district No. 9 Vladislav Teplyakov and Anna Nevzorova, together with the deputy of the Sochi City Council Oleg Chekmarev, allocated 500 thousand rubles for the repair of library No. 3 in the Areda microdistrict.
International School Libraries Day is celebrated annually on the fourth Monday in October. The purpose of this day is to draw public attention to the formation and replenishment of the literary fund of school libraries.
