Three police officers injured during an intervention, one victim of a serious bite to a finger
Three police officers were injured, one of the grievances in a finger, during an intervention for a marital dispute which degenerated in Avignon (Vaucluse), this Tuesday afternoon. A 32-year-old man was arrested with difficulty and taken into police custody.
A police crew from Avignon is negotiated around 4 p.m. in accommodation, following a call from a woman claiming that she was suffering violence from her husband. Upon their arrival, officials received insults from the suspect, a 32-year-old man, already known to the police.
The police then wanted to arrest the thirty-something but he did not let it go. He severely bit one of the officers on a finger who had a nail torn off. His two colleagues were also injured during the respondent’s violent rebellion.
The policeman was observed
Placed in custody, the man was the subject of a psychiatric examination which confirmed that his state of health was compatible with a criminal sanction. His wife reportedly reported a violent altercation and said she had not been beaten. The couple are said to be in the process of separation.
The grievor with a seriously injured finger was taken to a specialist clinic for surgery. His total incapacity for work (ITT) is not yet known, nor that of the other two police officers. An investigation was opened and opened to the departmental security (SD).
