Sticker joke attack in Berlin: BVG buses with smoking bears | Regional
Two bears have sex with a bottle of beer or a joint in their paws. Sticker attack on BVG buses!
Berlin – For around a year now, Berlin has had a new corporate design. The old motto Berlin ”disappeared,“ Senate and administrations introduce themselves with a red Berlin lettering and the black heraldic bear.
He also advertises the city under the windshields of the BVG buses, where the new logo is now being pulled through the cocoa.
For a few days now, buses on which the bears have been defaced have been driving through the city.
Mainly Mercedes-Citaro buses that come from the Cicerostraße depot in the Wilmersdorf district are affected.
The problem is known to the BVG (Berliner Verkehrs-Betriebe).
“The stickers were noticed last week,” says a spokesman. “They will now be removed and replaced with the original.”
How many buses are affected is unclear. Likewise, whether a BVG employee is behind the joke.
In all seriousness: the disfigured bears caused a few laughs among the passengers.
