Electric bike rental at the coast at Rouen (Seine-Maritime). With its Lovelo service, the Rouen Normandy Metropolis has been offering 800 electric bikes for hire since September 4, 2021, for a period of between one and 12 months. Lovelo will now expand its offer by offering folding bikes premium for hire.
“After less than two months of activity, 440 bikes are already rented and in circulation. Faced with the success of the formula, Lovélo is diversifying its offer by offering 50 folding bikes of the Brompton brand, ”said the Metropolis, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, in a press release.
Low-carbon mobility
“Raspberry-colored electric bicycles are multiplying in the region, the feedback is very positive,” said Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol, president of the Rouen Normandy metropolis and Cyrille Moreau, vice-president of the Rouen Normandy metropolis in charge of transport, mobility of the future and active modes of travel.
“We are continuing its development, always with the objective of accelerating the transition of our territory towards carbon-free mobility. With the integration of qualitative folding bicycles in our offer, it is an even more flexible mobility which opens up to the inhabitants of the territory ”, add the elected officials.
The starting monthly subscription (the first three months) for the premium folding bike is 36 euros, compared to 30 euros for the classic electric-assisted bike.
