Bulgaria clearly and categorically declares its political will to accelerate the process of acquiring membership in the OECD. At the moment, our country joins 14 instruments in the field of environment and chemicals. One of the planned activities to deepen participation in the organization is joining new legal instruments of the OISR.

Bulgaria’s intention to join the new 13 is well approved by a government decision of October 14, 2021. Accession to the listed legal instruments of the MoEW contributes to accelerating the process of acquiring membership in the OECD.
