Hungary would be one of the battery giants in Europe
According to Huawei Technologies, the Tech4Green – Digital Power Summit conference showcased the importance of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing or Big Data on the road to climate neutrality.
According to the announcement, László Palkovics, Minister of Innovation and Technology, explains that the most important technologies for Hungary are related to digitization and green technology that improves energy efficiency.
László Palkovics emphasized that one of the most important technologies of the future will be the battery, energy storage, and Hungary set the goal of being the second largest company in Europe after Germany.
A number of commitments have been made
In connection with the Artificial Intelligence Strategy, the Minister indicated that a significant part of MI applications and platforms now deal with how to use artificial intelligence in the field of green economy.
According to Huawei Technologies, the signed document states that Huawei will continue to work closely with domestic educational institutions, innovation and knowledge transfer to support the development of digital education. By testing and launching smart campus solutions, the company supports higher education in Hungary, continues to develop wifi systems and broadband networks in educational institutions, and offers smart collaboration and virtual desktop solutions to increase the efficiency of distance education.
Huawei will also continue to support the training of talented IT engineers, a total of 2,000 Hungarian students, at Hungarian universities, according to an agreement signed with the ministry in 2019.
The company continues to strive to make Hungary a leader in 5G technology and its application, as well as to develop the commercial use of 5G technology to bring the benefits of Industry4.0 to all domestic industries quickly.
In cooperation, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology undertakes to continue to provide an open and non-discriminatory business environment for the development of fifth generation networks in Hungary.
Smart city on the horizon
In order to develop the digital capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises, Huawei and the Ministry intend to launch an education campaign to present useful and simple solutions for SMEs in addition to the benefits of infocommunication.
In the announcement, the CEO of Huawei Technologies Hungary also indicated that the company would like to provide support in Hungary with smart city solutions to ensure sustainability and environmental protection, as well as to improve living conditions.
