Genoa, Le Iene reopen the case of little Alessandro Mathas killed at 8 months in Nervi

Alessandro Mathas, the little one killed in Nervi

Genoa – An anonymous letter could provide important elements to clarify the murder of Alessandro, the 8-month-old son of Katerina Mathas. For the murder of the child, Giovanni Antonio Rasero has been in prison for 10 years now, the man who, in the night between 15 and 16 March 2010, spent a few hours with the baby’s mother who was later found dead, killed by blows to the head and from various traumas.
For Justice, the culprit of the crime is Rasero himself but now, with the emergence of new elements, the case could prove even more shocking.

The case has in fact dealt with the transmission Le Iene with a service that reconstructs the discovery of the anonymous letter but, above all, the testimony of people who are very important elements to ascertain the truth and who should not be heard in court or have been denied to protect somehow the baby’s mother.

The Mediaset broadcast met people who were very close to Katerina and who made very strong statements – with no response at the time – but which must be verified and ascertained.
According to the testimony, in fact, some key elements of the trial should be reviewed because they do not correspond to the reality of the facts.

In particular, a witness – self-styled ex-companion of Mathas – responsible for having omitted in the trial and in the declarations to the police, having heard the little Alessandro at the time in which, for the forensic expert that nails Rasero, on the other hand, must have been dead by now.
Several self-styled friends of the woman have also provided reconstructions of the facts and the environment in which they occurred, which – if confirmed by investigations and investigations – would provide useful information to reopen the investigation and, probably, to exonerate Rasero.

The focal point of the trial is in fact the circumstance according to which, at the time set by the coroners for the death of Alessandro, the only one to be in the house of Nervi with the little victim was, in fact, Rasero.
Mom was wandering around town looking for the cocaine she was addicted to.
The mother was absent in the hours of death, the only culprit could have been Antonio Rasero.

The man has always said he was innocent now he can concretely hope for a review of the trial in the light of the new elements that have emerged and which, obviously, can be ascertained.
Alessandro’s mother, on the other hand, could not be tried again for the same crime since the circumstance is not provided for in the regulations in force and that instead a final solution – and therefore with a definitive sentence – cannot again be the subject of a new process.
