Corona exit controls: Braunau is not a role model for Salzburg
Despite comparably high corona numbers, Salzburg is not thinking about exit controls for entire districts. The number of infected people reached new record levels.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus reached new highs on Tuesday in Salzburg, some of which are already dying above the highs of the previous year. In Flachgau and Tennengau in particular, there were seven-day incidences of more than 600 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants. In the Braunau district with comparable numbers of infections and a below-average vaccination rate as in Tennengau, exit controls have been in place since Tuesday night.
