Debrecen – The partners of the University of Debrecen can present their research and cooperation opportunities planned in the next seven-year economic cycle of the European Union at the 2021 traveling conference of the university network of applied sciences between October 27-29.
The traveling conference, which starts on Wednesday, is held every two years to be hosted by the University of Debrecen. Due to epidemiological restrictions, this year’s event will also be available online.
– At each CAR PE conference, it is essential to link to specific current tender issues and engage in dialogues that show how we can work together within a tender project. Horizon Europe is now launching a seven-year call for proposals and proposals for European funding, for which a conference is being prepared, but social cooperation and the search for solutions in the field of sustainable and smart cities are also central.
Participants discuss how industrial partners in the regions of the respective universities, the administrative system of the city and the region can work together, and what resources can be found for research
– László Csernoch, the scientific vice-rector of the University of Debrecen, told hirek.unideb.hu.
Issues related to modern education, methodologies, distance learning online, contact with students, and the preparation of appropriate teaching aids were also discussed during the discussion.
– The University of Debrecen is in a very good position, as the key institutions of the given region are connected in the consortium. Members found a university in the person of DE where technical, IT and social issues are examined at a high level. DE was able to integrate easily and organically into CARPE, and the project became successful in this consortium, László Csernoch emphasized.
The deputy rector said that it is not possible to implement without the applied research background, therefore the university participating in the consortium has a close network of partners, industry actors in applications, research and collaborative ideas.
Representatives of sick universities and industry partners will make project proposals at the event, including the interconnection of healthcare and IT, automation of care, developments in the automotive industry, public transport, and the transformation of transport morale.
In 2015, the University of Debrecen joined the CARPE (Consortium on Applied Research and Professional Education) research consortium, which also includes members from Finnish, Spanish, German, Scottish, Dutch and Portuguese universities working in the field of applied research and education. they submit applications on environmental, urban development, technical and sports issues formulated by the given region or the union, thus helping the narrower region and the development of the EU.
