a delegation of angry traders from La Guillotière received at the town hall this Wednesday
Last week, 150 traders and residents demonstrated at La Guillotière.
A first step to denounce the increasingly complicated situation in the district straddling the 3rd and 7th arrondissements of Lyon.
The organizers had warned that they would gather the next time in front of the Town Hall so that they could be received by Mayor Grégory Doucet. A 15-day ultimatum had been set. And the request was partially heard since it is the latter’s deputy, Mohamed Chihi, delegate for Security, who will be responsible for receiving a delegation this Wednesday afternoon.
It is therefore his responsibility to try to reassure his interlocutors who say no “no longer work normally” and suffer “thefts, threats and other intolerable attacks” at la Guillotière.
Barring an unexpected important announcement, the delegation is unlikely to leave the central town hall with a smile. On this issue, as on many others, the ecological municipality takes the time to carry out studies and consultations to find solutions with “the broadest possible approach” as Mohamed Chihi explained to us recently.
